Some members that join the club will want to just attend the club sessions shooting
a few arrows for fun and meeting other club members. These members will always
be very welcome at the club.

For those members that want some form of progression plan, here is the one that
the club proposes you follow.

Stage 1
Obtain your 252 badges for the two shortest distances. Thirty and twenty
metres for adults, ten and twenty metres for juniors.
Stage 2
Shoot three target days at relevant short metric rounds to achieve a club
handicap.
Work to progressively improve that handicap with the aim of trying to win the
club handicap improvement award for that year.
Stage 3
Work to obtain your classification at Third Class.
Try and win the club handicap league for that year.
Try and win the club handicap improvement award for that year.
Try and set some new club records.
Stage 4
Work to achieve your classification at Second class.
Try and win the club handicap league for that year.
Try and win the club handicap improvement award for that year.
Try and set some new club records.
Stage 5
Work to achieve your classification at First class.
Try and win the club handicap league for that year.
Try and win the club handicap improvement award for that year.
Try and set some new club records.
Stage 6
Work to achieve your classification at Bowman class.
Try and win the club handicap league for that year.
Try and win the club handicap improvement award for that year.
Try and set some new club records.
Stage 7
Start to enter UK tournaments.
Work towards your classification at Master Bowman
Try and win the club handicap league for that year.
Try and win the club handicap improvement award for that year.
Try and set some new club records.
Stage 8
Continue to enter UK tournaments.
Work towards your classification at Grand Master Bowman
Try and win the club handicap league for that year.
Try and win the club handicap improvement award for that year.
Try and set some new club records.
Try and win as many UK tournaments as possible.
Try and set some UK record scores.
Stage 9
Try and get onto the UK Olympic team
