2020 Lessons

We have yet to set any dates for the 2018 training courses. If you wish to be added to the waiting list, email us and we will inform you as soon as the dates are announced.

Due to the current Coronavirus situation, we have cancelled our scheduled training course. At this point, we do not have any planned for the remainder of the year, though we will review this as the year progresses.

We will be running a training course on the following dates:
Sunday 17th May
Sunday 24th May
Sunday 31st May
Sunday 7th June

All sessions will run from 1pm to 3pm (2 hours in length) and will be at our range at Beversbrook.

The lessons run for 4 weeks and will cost £60 for the 4 sessions, where participants will be given detailed instruction on shooting and technique, etc.

The course will cover the basics of target archery with recurve bows. All equipment will be provided for use as part of the course. The lessons will run alongside normal club shoots, offering the chance to see others shoot different bows, and to meet and chat with existing members.
These lessons are available to anyone aged 10 and over, and are a prerequisite for anyone new to archery who wishes to join the club.
Email calnearchers@gmail.com if you require any further information.

The club will hold a “new members” session for those wishing to join the club on the Sunday following the completion of the course to introduce people to the club and provide additional training and assistance.

Please note: a deposit of £10 is required to secure a place on the course.
